Health Care Professionals Welcome!
Good Shepherd Eye Clinic is a faith-based organisation that provides eye care to the people of Eswatini (former Swaziland) and neighboring countries. With our team consisting of four ophthalmologists and two ophthalmic nurses, we treat 16.000 and operate on 1.200 patients each year.
We place great value in treating everyone that is in need regardless of socio-economic considerations. We firmly believe that increased accessibility to our services is the key to eliminating treatable blindness in Eswatini.

Good Shepherd Hospital, through funds committed by the Ministry of Health, pays most salaries of the eye clinic staff. Funding for the day-to-day expenses is partly from Hope & Healing (formerly CBM) and partly from patient fees for services. We have been able to innovate the eye clinic and improve our care throughout the years by receiving donations, doing research and training staff. Consequently we have become an institution that is known for affordable, world-class eye care.
